Beginners
Exe Pilates specialises in beginners courses allowing clients who are new to Pilates to learn the fundamentals properly, at their pace which will enable them to then join an established class with confidence and control.
As a beginner, you will learn about how to: align yourself correctly in multiple positions; activate your deep core muscles and stabilisers; approach your movement with more conscious control; reprogram your movement patterns to prevent straining and overloading; and, maximise your breathing to get the most out of exercise. Classes are small, allowing for individual instruction and correction. All abilities are catered for as instructors provide adaptations specific to your individual needs.
Handouts will be emailed as a PDF file after each class to accompany the class content and exercises to help guide your practice and understanding.
